COURSE DETAILS

This course was created in alignment OSHA 1910.1030 requirements for Bloodborne Pathogen Training and includes the following:

  • The definitions of Bloodborne Pathogens (BBP) and Other Potentially Infectious Materials (OPIM)

  • How BBP are transmitted

  • How to prevent the spread of BBP

  • The appropriate use of Universal Precautions

  • A demonstration of bloodborne pathogen clean-up using universal precautions

  • The selection of personal protective equipment

  • How to use personal protective equipment, including contaminated material disposal

  • The employer's BBP Exposure Control Plan and how it can be utilized

  • What to do if a BBP exposure occurs

  • Information on the hepatitis B vaccine

  • How do I assign training to employees?

    After checkout, you will be prompted to enter employee first name, last name, and email address. Once entered, your employees will get an automatic email inviting them to start the training.

  • Once we register our employees, is there tracking to document who has finished the training?

    Yes, you will be able to access reports on quiz scores, progress, and course completion!

  • We have our own LMS, can we integrate your training into it or do we have to use your platform?
