COURSE INFORMATION

This course was developed in alignment with OSHA's Focus Four Hazards training guidance. After this training learners will be able to:

  • 12-minute video course with quiz, quiz key, and sign-in sheet

  • Identify struck-by hazards in the workplace

  • Give examples of the most common struck-by hazards that lead to incidents

  • Recognize these specific struck by hazards; flying objects, falling objects, swinging objects, and rolling objects

  • Utilize methods to protect themselves from struck-by hazards including heavy equipment, mobile machinery, and vehiclesS

  • Implement safe work practices and PPE to reduce the risk of struck-by hazards
